Escorted Adventure for all the family

Sharing The Fun

Many families find our Alpies Clubs and Teen Rangers provide the perfect mix between family days spent together and time for both parents and children to enjoy 'doing their own thing' for a few days.

Some families however want to use their holiday to spend as much 'quality time' together as possible, and share the fun and adventures that a summer Alpine holiday offers. If this sounds like your family, our Escorted Adventure Weeks are for you!

Age Range

Our Escorted Adventure Weeks cover a whole host of exciting activities, ranging from mountain-biking and river-rafting to glacier-hikes and forest adventure rope courses! They are consequently not suitable for very small children, so our child age range for these holidays is normally from 8-15 years old. 16 & 17 year olds are welcome too, but do not qualify for the discounted child price.

A positive, enthusiastic attitude to these exciting activities is important, as is an appropriate level of fitness, and these holidays will not best suit children - especially at the younger end of the age range - who really don't enjoy outdoor adventures!

Your Esprit Family Adventure Leader

Our Escorted Adventure Weeks run for a group size of up to a maximum of 16-20 guests, and each group will have its own dedicated Esprit Adventure Leader. He or she will lead throughout the week, making sure all arrangements run smoothly and will always be on hand to deal with any queries which may arise.

NEW - Flexi-Adventures - bookable by the day

Our Adventure Week activities have proved so popular, that several guests asked last summer about joining us on a more flexible daily basis, to enable families to tailor-make their week around our Alpies and Teen Ranger options, plus their own plans for family days out.

Ever ready to listen to our guests, we have introduced our new Flexi-Adventures programme this year, enabling families to do just that! Subject to availability, you can now book individual days of your choice from our Escorted Adventure Weeks itineraries, either in advance, to secure your places, or locally with 24 hours’ notice, if spaces are still available.

Prices for the individual activities are therefore now shown on our Adventure Week pages, and if you plan to join several of these, it may be worth booking the full weekly package, as these offer big savings compared to the combined individual activity costs.

As with the full Adventure Weeks, children under 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult, and the same conditions apply.

Important Information

Adventure weeks run from 17 July - 27th August.

We will always do our best to adhere to the programmes as outlined in the brochure, but must reserve the right to change the nature or the running order of the activities due to local conditions, weather, availability of guides etc. Please therefore bring your sense of humour with you as well as your sense of adventure - if you do not cope well with occasional, sometimes short notice changes to plan, these holidays may not be for you!

In the event that a particular activity is not possible at all during the week, your Adventure Leader will arrange an alternative activity to replace it. No refunds or compensation will necessarily be payable in such a case.

Some activities, such as those on glaciers or visiting the ice caves, naturally require appropriate clothing. Please ask for our Information Dossier on your chosen week(s), which will give advice in this regard.

Many activities take place within the resort, but some require transport. This is sometimes provided for the whole group together, but on occasion it may be necessary to use your own car to reach the activity venue - full directions will of course be supplied!

5 light packed lunches (or picnics where specified) are included. Lunches at other restaurants mentioned are optional and at your own cost.

Children must be accompanied by at least one parent on all activities.
