Family Alpine Activities
Many families find our Alpies Clubs and Teen Rangers provide the perfect mix between family days spent together and time for both parents and children to enjoy ‘doing their own thing’.
Some families however want to use their time to spend as much ‘quality time’ together as possible and to share the fun and adventures that a summer Alpine holiday offers.
All our resorts offer a wide range of adventures, with many suitable for young children as well as more energetic or challenging ones for older youngsters. You can see from the selection detailed below that you are spoilt for choice!

Swimming
All our resorts have pools, plus there are some superb water-parks accessible by car, and our Belle Plagne Chalet Hotel has its own indoor pool!
Activity Fun-Parks
Forest adventure parks in two of our resorts offer zip-wires, scramble-nets, rope-swings and slides, or try Parc Walibi family theme-park in France.
Animals
Anything and everything four-footed and furry is always a hit with children, from pony-rides and farm visits to our marmot-spotting expeditions!
Hiking the hills
There are numerous family walks and with children in Alpies Clubs or Teen Rangers, parents can take on that all day hike that just wouldn’t be possible with the little ones in tow.
White Water Rafting
There are gentler trips for families too, but the adrenaline rush of wilder white water is for adults and teenagers only.
Lakes, Streams & Rivers
From paddling and dam-building to pedaloes, kayaks and river-rafts, there’s nothing quite like messing about on the water!
Cycling & Mountain-Biking
From gentle lake-side paths to more rugged mountain tracks, there’s a wealth of choice for families to enjoy bike rides of every level.
Cable-cars & Chairlifts
The thrill of riding high above the trees is simply not to be missed, and generally there are ice-creams, food and drinks at the top to cap the ride!
