Mountains and Marmots
Alpe d'Huez is a major activities centre in the French Alps in the summer and you are really spoilt for choice. Many activities in the village are included with the VISALP pass but we have a selection of additional Family Adventure Activities for you to try which you can either pre-book individually or as the Mountains & Marmots weekly package.
Paragliding (Monday): Take to the skies for a 'bird's eye' view of the mountains as you soar effortlessly above the ground. Each flight is taken with a qualified instructor who will ensure that you have an amazing experience. £75 per person (Adult and Child).
Via Ferrata (Wednesday): This follows a number of protected, rocky scrambling routes and you climb with the use of ladders, ramps and cables which are fixed to the rock face. Equipment is provided and experience is not necessary although a head for heights helps! £42 per person (Adult and Child).
Mountains & Marmots Adventure Hike (Thursday): Discover the true beauty of the area keeping an eye out for the local wildlife including the amusing marmots and elusive chamois. Adult £19. Child £15.
Golf Afternoons (Friday): A special discovery course for children and parents, golf clubs included. Adult and Child £19.
The Mountains and Marmots week: Adult £135. Child £129.
